 – Welcome to Creek Street Medical Practice –

The Government has tripled the incentive paid to GPs to bulk bill consultations for families with children under 16 years, pensioners and Commonwealth concession card holders, at a cost of $3.5 billion – the largest investment in bulk billing incentives ever. The tripling of the bulk billing incentive applies to:

• all face‑to‑face general practice consultations more than 6 minutes in length
• all telehealth general practice services which are between 6 and 20 minutes in length
• longer telehealth general practice consultations where a patient is registered with their GP through MyMedicare

These changes have enabled us to resume bulk billing some services for holders of Government pension, concession and health care cards and children aged under 16.

Home and Aged Care visits, as well as procedures will still incur an out-of-pocket cost.

Welcome to our new Registrars: 

Dr Sarah Care graduated with a Doctor of Medicine from Flinders University and subsequently worked in a range of specialties at Eastern Health in Melbourne before relocating to Bendigo. Since graduating medicine Sarah has completed a Diploma of Obstetrics and Gynaecology and is currently working towards fellowship with the RACGP. She enjoys the variety of general practice including chronic condition management, paediatrics and mental health and has a particular interest in women’s health.

Dr Katrina Van de Linde graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine / Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) (Hons) from Monash University in 2019.  She values providing holistic care within the community while gaining diverse clinical experience.  Katrina has a particular interest in children’s health, sexual health, and emergency medicine – with experience as a GP Paediatric Registrar at Bendigo Health, on-call at Castlemaine Urgent Care Centre. In her spare time, Katrina enjoys travelling, gardening and crafts.
